Announcement of Key Information for 2025 Apollo Projects Junior Festivals
We are excited to release the last of the key information for all of our Swimming NZ championships being held in 2025.
The information shared today includes the information book and event schedule for the following competitions:
2025 Apollo Projects Junior Festival - All Stars
2025 Apollo Projects Junior Festival - Aquaknights
2025 Apollo Projects Junior Festival - Harlequins
2025 Apollo Projects Junior Festival - Makos
There has been one update from the dates and venues released earlier this year, with the Harlequins festival now being hosted at the Sir Owen G Glenn National Aquatic Centre in Auckland.
Swimming NZ's Competitions Manager, Kate Griffiths, is looking forward to organising each of these festivals in the new year.
"We can't wait to host our members at each of the respective festivals across the same weekend in 2025. With the updates following the Competition Review, we are preparing to provide the best possible experience for the swimmers to celebrate the festival at the end of the summer."
Swimming NZ's Head of Participation, Competitions & Engagement, Dale Johnson, is excited to see the last of the recommendations rolled out.
"This announcement for the festivals signals the implementation of all of the recommendations from the Competition Review. We are looking forward to seeing these brought to life at competitions throughout 2025 and beyond, providing the best opportunities for our community to race at all levels."
