Team NZ Represents in USA at Mission Viejo

Team NZ travels to USA for Mission Viejo TYR Pro Meet

The Swimming New Zealand team travelled to Los Angeles on Saturday to represent at the Mission Viejo TYR Pro meet and the Speedo Grand Challenge. These meets are on back-to-back weekends and draw in some of the world's fastest swimmers with the NZ team seeing how they stack up against World Champions and Olympians.


The Mission Viejo TYR Pro meet begins overnight on the 18th for our swimmers and runs from the 17th - 20th. After a week of recovery and preparation, the Grand Challenge will take place on the 26th of May for the final 2 days of competition.


The selected team is being led by Olympic Programme Leader Gary Francis and supported by Phoenix Aquatics Coach Ryan Lockwood and Team Manager Toni Bayliffe.
